Katy's Back

Easter party! Today our first April storytime had a wonderful addition. Katy is back and ready to read again. The kids were so happy to see her it had been about five weeks since she left to have surgery. We had cookies during storytime and then we had a few rousing games of "Springo". Many prizes were given and fun was had by all. There were a total of 55 people today, it was quite a crowd.

Fanny also had a big crowd today. With her Easter ears on she enchanted the children with her story of, "Alexander and Jesse Bear".

This Thursday, April 5th, we will be showing a movie at 6:30 PM.
National Library Week begins April 16th. The Children's Department will have a "Family Reads Night", on April 17th beginning at 6:30 PM. Come in your PJs and sit with your family while Katy, Fanny, or Sandi share a favorite story of theirs with you. You can also choose your own stories to read with your family. We will have snacks and a few surprises.
Our last Storytime will be April 18th.
