Bravo Ladies

The "Enchanted Entertainers" premiered their first play this week, Something new for Halloween and Who's afraid of the Big Bad Pumpkin, at the Riverton Branch Library. They had five shows, with an average of 60 people attending, and they were all very successful. Our eleven actor/moms did excellent jobs with stage design, costuming, and acting. They are a very professional group, and we hope to see more of them in the near future.

NEW HAPPENINGS IN CHILDREN'S

This fall of 2007 we started a girl's and boy's book club. We also started a girl's craft day. The girls groups started off great with l7 attending the book club and about 20 doing the craft. For the boys it is a little slower. The group will start on the 23rd of October with 6 members. They will be reading an A to Z Mystery. The girls have started their club on the 18th of September. We will be discussing the book The Hundred Dresses, by Eleanor Estes, when we meet on October 16th. The next book for the girls is The Castle in the Attic by Elizabeth Winthrop. If you are interested and are in 4th or 5th grade please give us a call. The girl's craft day is also for grades 4th and 5th. Our number is 307 856-3556 and ask to speak with Katy, Fanny, or Sandi.

Storytime

Wow what a group. We started with 89 attending total for our September 12th kickoff. On the 19th of September we had 109 and on September 26th we had 117 adults and children at our third storytime. We must be doing something right. If you are looking for a fun way to spend your Wednesday mornings join us for our Storytime. It starts at 10:15 AM and we have two different groups. The three through five year olds meet in the children's library and the little guys birth to age two meet in the children's theatre. It is about 20 minutes of stories, songs, and finger plays. The older kids do a weekly craft while the younger do one maybe twice a month. We are headed into October with lots of exciting ideas so we sure hope to see you there! For more information give us a call at 307 856-3556 and ask for Katy, Fanny, or Sandi.
