Nowoodstock 2006

I just spent Sunday August 13th at the Nowoodstock Festival in Tensleep Wyoming. We sat and listened to a mixture of bluegrass, gospel, jazz, and silly music. Two of the performers live here in Wyoming. Jalan Crossland lives in Tensleep he writes and performs his own music. Jeff Troxel lives in Dubois. He is the national flat picking winner. A group from Denver called, "Hell in a handbasket" performed gospel, jazz, and a little bluegrass. These were only three of the many groups and single perfomers who spent three days entertaining people in the beautiful city of Tensleep. There were merchants selling their crafts and food venders from the local restaurants. It was a great time. So mark your calendars for August 10, 11, and 12 2007 and plan to attend the seventh annual Nowoodstock Festival.
